The Théâtre de l'Alcazar (Occitan: Teatre de l'Alcazar) was a famous theatre, founded in the mid-19th century, that was located in the heart of Marseille's Bourse district, on Cours Belsunce, near the Canebière.
From the 1960s the site was gradually abandoned, before being converted into a municipal library in 2004. Wikipedia ↗
