Cimetière de Montmartre

The North Cemetery, commonly known as the Montmartre Cemetery, is located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

It covers an area of 11 hectares. It is the third-largest cemetery in Paris, after the East Cemetery, known as Père-Lachaise, and the South Cemetery, or Montparnasse Cemetery. All of these cemeteries were outside Paris at the time of their creation. The Montmartre Cemetery has the distinctive feature of being spanned by a large road bridge, the pont Caulaincourt.
